Fwiw, i heard that the virtualbox developers do not intend to investigate virtualbox issues on windows 7 hosts any more, but are willing to consider favorably and, if appropriate, accept. I did clean install windows 10 version 21h2 still virtualbox runs slow with latest.
1) download virtualbox 6.1.18 and the virtualbox extension pack.
